healthy veggie side Dishes11/25/2016 Hey fit fam! Made these yesterday for Thabksgiving and they were a HIT!
Even if people don't like Brussels sprouts and asparagus I bet they will eat these! FOR THE SPROUTS--get fresh sprouts. Wash then slice them in half across the core. Throw in a bowl, add black pepper and a little sea salt. I added flavor God seasoning too but that's my preference . Add 2 tbsp EVOO and just use your hands to coat everything evenly. Put on cookie tray or in silver to go pan like this but only create one layer. Then cut up 5 slices turkey bacon! Place on top and then bake at 400 for 30 min! FOR THE ASPARAGUS--cut off bottoms and wash. Season with black pepper and a little sea salt. Add a few sliced washed mushrooms. Take 2tbsp EVOO and mix all together wit your hands. Then add breadcrumbs. I sprinkle them but if you measure it's probably 1/4 or 1/3 cup. Mix alllllll together so the asparagus has some of the breadcrumbs. Then bake 400 for 30 min! You can do this without the breadcrumbs but for holidays people love this! These can be used any day for dinner! Not just holidays! But if I go somewhere I'm bringing a healthy side!
