Post workout snacks9/16/2015 A real important question I get is “what should I eat after my workout?” Guys, eating is so important after you workout. Especially protein packed foods! I have days where I finish my workout, and the last thing I can think about is food, and then those days where I finish my workout and come home and I’m so hungry I could eat the whole kitchen including the sink itself, lol.
Here’s an idea of a few snacks you could be eating after you finish a workout in between meals.
Boiled eggs Protein shakes Nuts Greek yogurt with berries A banana with 1 tbsp of PB 1 slice of whole grain bread w/ a hard boiled egg Spinach salad w/ lean chicken breast Omlette- 1 whole egg/2 egg whites/1 cup of veggies Whole grain wrap w/ turkey and spinach Protein bar (make sure it doesn’t have lot’s of sugar or carbs)
